The Yellow Army have been been voting in their numbers for their 2020/21 Goal of the Season over the past fortnight, however the eventual winner will be of little surprise to those who witnessed it live.
Goalkeeper Lucas Covolan’s astonishing injury-time leveller at Ashton Gate clearly remains a fond memory from a hugely exciting 2020/21 campaign, securing over 78% of the votes cast, with Adam Randell’s thumping strike at Bromley and Aaron Nemane’s superb effort against Crawley finishing in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
“The most iconic goal of the season was obviously Lucas’, people will remember that forever!” said United manager Gary Johnson.
