TUAFC is launching the 3rd charity raffle for 2021/2022, this time for mental health charity Mind.

In another show of the Club, its supporters, and the wider community working together for the best for Torbay and its residents, Torquay United AFC is proud to be assisting with this latest fundraising activity, for another very worthy cause.

Following the untimely passing of Popsider Craig Robinson, United supporters Steve Campbell and Shane Burton wanted to do something positive in his memory, whilst also raising awareness of mental health, as well as the amazing work Mind does.

Steve and Shane are currently travelling across the country in a challenge which will see them visit 115 football grounds from across the top five divisions in one week. Having begun the challenge at Argyle’s Home Park, they are due to finish at Plainmoor this Saturday, 23rd October.

The duo’s arrival at Plainmoor will form another important part of Torquay United’s Community Day at Plainmoor, as part of United’s commitment in working together for the greater good of Torbay. The King’s Lynn fixture will see the Club join forces with Sport Torbay, the Torbay Weekly, Torbay Council and the local community, including youth groups, to highlight the importance of Torbay Together to bring the best out of the resort and its residents.

Further details regarding our Community Day are available here.

Raffle tickets are priced at £2, with all proceeds going to Mind, with the draw closing at 4pm on Thursday 28th October.

Tickets can be purchased here with the winner receiving a signed 2021/22 home shirt.

Supporters wishing to follow their journey can do so via the Mind 115 Stadium Challenge Facebook page, HERE.
