Following a summer of extensive improvements on United’s playing surface, here’s the latest scene from Plainmoor.
With the familiar chequered pattern now adorning the hallowed turf, this provides another timely reminder of the work that has been going on behind the scenes, in preparation of the forthcoming campaign.
“I’m happy with how things are coming together,” added Groundsman Julian Gouldthorpe.
“With the chequers now being visible out on the grass, it’s shows that the pitch improvement work is continuing to move forward at a steady pace.
“Like everyone else, I’m just looked forward to seeing the players back out there now!”
