We will be having a minute’s applause in memory of Torquay United legend, Ian Twitchin, before Tuesday night’s match against Gateshead at Plainmoor.
Teignmouth born, Twitchin is one of only five players to make over 400 appearances for the Club. He made 15 FA Cup, and 20 League Cup appearances to take his tally to 435 appearances in total. He also scored 17 goals in a spell that lasted from 1969 to 1980.
Members of Ian’s family will be joining us at the game to celebrate the career of one the most popular players to pull on a Torquay United shirt.
