The postponement of our away fixture against Leyton Orient means United do not play again until March 3rd when AFC Fylde come to Plainmoor. The O’s are still in the FA Trophy, and the tie will now take place at the Matchroom Stadium on Tuesday, March 13 (KO 7:45pm).

United have a massive two months ahead as the team fights to stay in the National League. First up are the the Coasters (03/03/18 | kick-off 3pm) who currently sit in 9th position and are two points outside of the play-off positions. They face 7th place Dover Athletic on Saturday who them themselves are trying to stay in the race for promotion after losing two of their last three games.

Games that influence the race for survival on Saturday in the National League include Chester‘s (22nd) visit to Dagenham & Redbridge and FC Halifax‘s (18th) away trip to Eastleigh who have lost their last three games. Hartlepool United (19th) are at home to Ebbsfleet United who have won their last three games. Maidstone United (17th) are at home to Tranmere Rovers who were beaten 4-1 by Macclesfield Town last time out. Solihull Moors (21st) miss out on a fixture over the weekend too. Tuesday’s opponents Sutton United face bottom of the table Guiseley, and then the Lions take on Barrow (20th) on Tuesday night at home.

Our focus remains on next Saturday’s match at Plainmoor against AFC Fylde when the team aims to bounce back from Tuesday night’s defeat to Sutton United.
