Ahead of United’s trip to face Bath City tomorrow, the club have been boosted by the return of winger Opi Edwards.

Since signing on loan from parent club Bristol City at the end of August, Edwards has established himself as a real crowd favourite, making 12 appearances and scoring 2 goals.

It’s been a difficult period for Opi, but he is relishing the opportunity to fight for his place back in the first team.

‘I’m looking forward to coming back, I’ve been out for a while now, and just want to get back to where I was,” said Edwards.

“It’s the longest I’ve been out [injured]; it’s been frustrating.”

“I’m trying to get back into the team. They’ve been on fire, so it’ll be hard but I’ve just got to do my best.”
