TULFC ladies returned from Keynsham with 3 points, a clean sheet and a hat-trick for Sian Chapman.

With the squad hit by injuries and illness, there were a few changes in the starting line-up including a first start for  striker Danni Wyatt.

TULFC started the game the brighter of the two sides creating several chances early on. The break-through came in the 15th minute when Rhi Bailey struck a corner with perfect precision into the box which met a well-timed run by Sian Chapman to put TULFC into a deserved lead.

TULFC were dominating the game and dealing with everything Keynsham could throw at them. Becca Wakely, Alex Sheppard and Adele Rogers were solid at the back, and goalkeeper Beth Marshall had very little to do all game.

In the 25th minute, Sarah Smith made a clever run down the left and played in Jana Richards who took her time, looked up and played the ball straight into the feet of Self who made it 2-0. Soon after, Sian Chapman got her second of the game with a cheeky lob over the advancing Keynsham keeper. Half time 3-0 to TULFC.

In the 55th minute, skipper Sheppard made way for Georgia Mann with Rogers taking the armband. Chapman came close again after an excellent through ball from Rogers and put the ball in the back of the net, only for the assistant to rule offside. More changes made taking into account a busy schedule leading up to Christmas.  Self and Bailey made way for Jodie Randall and Hannah Randle, Chapman dropped into a more attacking midfield role and Wyatt played up top on her own.

Around the 70 minute mark, Chapman picked the ball up 20-yards-out. Shw showed some quick feet and skill before striking the ball past the keeper. TULFC were in a  comfortable 4-0 lead.

Wakely made way for Amy Evans with TULFC still in a dominant mood.  A free-kick 25 yards out by Hannah Eglon nearly made it 5-0, but the ball smashed against the bar.

There are a tough run of games for TULFC coming up, but going into those fixtures buoyed after another big victory.

Next Sunday they face Bishops Lydeard at home in a 2pm kick off.
