United Exit Bowl

City run out comprehensive winners against young United side

A young Torquay United exited the Bayside Graphics Devon St Luke’s Bowl at the 2nd round stage on Monday evening, as Exeter City romped to victory at the Cliff Hill training ground.

City, whose side contained a number of players with senior experience, were in charge from almost the first whistle, and were already five goals ahead at the halfway point.

Despite the Young Gulls’ best efforts, they were unable to stem the tide in the second period, with the final score ending 11-0 in the Grecians’ favour.

Exeter will now move on to play Barnstaple Town away in January.
