Pengelly returns whilst MAcDonald-Brown makes Torquay switch
Ahead of United Women’s return to action against AEK Boco at Coach Road on Sunday afternoon (11/01/26 2pm KO), manager Ryan Perks has bolstered his squad with the double signing of forward Connie Pengelly and attacking full-back Skye MacDonald-Brown.
Former Exeter striker Pengelly, who arrives after a spell at Bridgwater, will already be a familiar face to Gulls fans, having been top scorer for the Yellows when they last clinched promotion to the National League three years ago.
Meanwhile MacDonald-Brown, who has enjoyed stints at Exeter an Marine Academy Plymouth, will offer Perks valuable versatility in both full-back or wing-back positions.
Both players will be hoping to make an instant impact for United, as they return to SWRWFL action against second-placed AEK Boco at Coach Road, Newton Abbot this afternoon.
