Post-Match Arrangements v Hemel

Stay behind to watch the end of season award presentations!

With United taking on Hemel Hempstead Town in our last home league game of the regular campaign, a bumper crowd is already guaranteed on Saturday, with over 4,000 tickets already sold, and only a handful of seats remaining, as of Thursday afternoon.

The Yellow Army are therefore strongly encouraged to arrive at the stadium in plenty of time ahead of kick-off, to ensure queues are kept to a minimum around the ground, and that no-one misses out on any of the big match action.

If you haven’t secured your place for the biggest show in town this weekend – book before it’s too late online HERE!

Following what is sure to be an action-packed encounter, Saturday also provides supporters with the chance to see which players have been received recognition of a year of hard work in a yellow shirt with the presentation of a number of annual awards after the final whistle.

As is now customary at full-time on the last game of the season, we will be presenting the following awards after the game:

  • Player of the Season – as voted by TUFC supporters
  • Young Player of the Season – as voted by TUFC supporters
  • Ian Twitchin Award – as adjudicated by the Torquay United Supporters Trust, in recognition of the player making the most appearances
  • Exiles Away Player of the Season – as voted by TUFC supporters and sponsored by the Torquay United Supporters Trust, in recognition of top performer away from home. Supporters can vote online HERE

With much still to be decided at the end of what has been a remarkable 2025/26 season, it is understandable that emotions and tensions will be running high throughout the course of the 90 minutes, and also after the match.

However, with any pitch incursions by supporters – whether in celebration or otherwise – likely to see Torquay United punished and fined by the authorities, we kindly ask all supporters NOT to invade the pitch at any time during, or after, the match.

TUFC also wishes to reiterate once again that it is illegal to bring any form of pyrotechnic or smoke bomb into any football stadia, so please do not attempt to bring any flares, smoke bombs or any form of pyrotechnic into Plainmoor.

We greatly appreciate the understanding and support of the Yellow Army regarding this matter.

With United’s end-of-season awards taking place on the pitch after the full-time whistle, we kindly request that all supporters give the players and their families the opportunity to thank the Yellow Army for their support this season, prior to us all discovering who has won the much sought-after trophies!
