Today’s The Day For United’s Women!

After a long and already hugely successful season, United’s women will head for Bristol on Sunday afternoon knowing that three points will clinch not only the league title, but with it, promotion back to the fourth tier.

Less than 48 hours after securing the Devon County Cup after a stunning 10-0 win over SB Oak Villa, , United will head to Bristol knowing that victory over AEK Boco Ladies will secure The Gulls a return to the FA Women’s National League following their heart-breaking final day relegation two seasons ago.

Kicking off at Boco’s Greenbank Recreation Ground (BS15 3RZ), at 2pm on Sunday, Torquay will head there knowing that a point will probably be enough to achieve their dreams due to Ryan Perks’ side boasting a hefty goal difference advantage, however, they will no doubt be looking to put the destination beyond all doubt ahead of their final league game at Sherborne the following weekend.

Any members of the Yellow Army able to attend the game will be warmly welcomed to cheer on United, at the end of what has been a so-far unblemished weekend for TUFC.

As ever, those unable to travel can listen to live and exclusive commentary via TUFC Radio HERE
