Isaac Westendorf Signs For United

Torquay United is pleased to announce the signing of striker Isaac Westendorf.

Born in Bremen, Germany, Westendorf, 25, spent his youth career at Barking before a big move to Premier League side Newcastle United in 2021 where he was a part of their U23 side. A move to Larne in Northern Ireland followed with Westendorf helping his team to win the league in 2024. Moves in Balzan in Malta and then Oxford City followed over the next two seasons.

An exciting striker who will bring pace, power and a physical presence to Jimmy Ball’s squad, his ability to stretch defences, win aerial battles and make intelligent runs makes him a constant threat.

Manager Jimmy Ball is excited to have Westendorf on board for the new season.

“Isaac is unique,” said Jimmy. “He’s a great young man with a lot of passion and a lot of desire. I think he will be a handful. I think people will have to cope with him and his attributes.”
