United Women Add Duo

Ahead of their return to the FA Women’s National League this weekend, Torquay United’s women have bolstered their midfield department with the double signing of Brooke Ellis and Dani Tyson.

With United heading to Wycombe on Sunday (16/08/26 2pm KO), the arrival of two players who can boast Tier 3 experience is sure to come as a huge boost to Ryan Perks’ side.

Brooke began her career in the youth ranks at Plymouth Argyle before moving on to Forest Green Rovers. Having settled in Gloucestershire, a switch to Cheltenham followed, prior to her ending the last campaign at Worcester City. A return to Devon proved too tempting though, and she will now be lining up in a yellow shirt next term.

Dani, meanwhile, spent two years at Exeter City before signing for Dulwich Hamlet, until a return to the West Country eventually saw her make the move to Bridgwater. An unfortunate injury put paid to her progression there, but having recovered, she is now looking forward to a fresh start with The Gulls.

Welcome aboard, Brooke & Dani!

Both signings are subject to FA & league approval.
