United side heading to to Homers Heath tomorrow evening.

There may be no first-team action this weekend, however United will be sending a side to Newton Abbot tomorrow, as The Gulls take on Buckland Athletic in the 1st Round of the 2024/25 Bayside Graphics Devon St. Luke’s Bowl.

Taking place at Athletic’s VX3 Stadium on Tuesday 24th September (7.30pm KO), Buckland’s clubhouse – which always provides a warm welcome for all supporters – from 6pm.

The match represents a swift return to Newton Abbot for Paul Wotton’s men, with the two sides contesting a 0-0 draw in Torquay’s opening pre-season friendly back in July.

If United are to win the competition for the first time since 2006/07, they will have to first overcome a Buckland side that has started the season in impressive form, with five wins from their opening six outings seeing Dan Hart’s side occupy 4th place in the early Western League table.
