Carson Named BVEC Player Of The Month For August!

Matt Carson has been chosen as the BVEC Player of the Month for August, with the Yellow Army voting for the midfielder to receive the first monthly award of the 2024/25 campaign.

Matt was one of the many new faces brought in by Paul Wotton over the summer, with the midfielder hitting the ground running with his performances during August, including two goals, with his first being United’s first goal of the new campaign against Enfield in the opening game of the season.

After receiving his award ahead of the 1-1 draw with St Albans on Saturday, Matt spoke of his delight at being chosen as the Yellow Army’s choice for August.

“I’m delighted to pick up this award as chosen for by the Yellow Army, obviously I just try and do what I can for the team and try and get goals, assists and help towards wins. The season has only just got started and we are not many games in so there is a long time to go and we just need to keep it going and to get more good results.”

Congratulations, Matt!
