Club Statement

Torquay United Football Club can confirm that it has today issued a number of individuals with banning orders following their unacceptable antisocial behaviour at our away match at Bath City on January 19th.

We wish to place on record our thanks to members of the Yellow Army that have assisted in identifying the offenders that were responsible for this provocative and disruptive behaviour. We are continuing to work closely with the police in bringing offenders to justice.

It should be noted that unacceptable and potentially criminal anti-social behaviour includes the use of pyrotechnics, such as smoke/light devices and flares. We continue to work closely with our away clubs to monitor the behaviour of a minority of our supporters and to identify the individuals that are tarnishing the reputation of the Club and its dedicated fanbase.

The safety and security of all spectators is a responsibility that the Club takes very seriously. With the support and assistance of all true supporters of the Club we will continue to work and will not hesitate to take every available action against those that wish to cause intimidation and disruption home and away.
