Edwards Heads To Brixham

Torquay United youngster joins Fishermen on loan

Torquay United youngster Aidan Edwards has joined Brixham AFC on loan as he continues his development with regular senior football.

The move will see Edwards link up with familiar faces at Wall Park, with fellow Torquay United Under-18 players Fin Herbert and Jonah Shaw already featuring for the South Devon side this season. The trio have impressed at youth level for the Gulls and will now look to translate that promise into consistent performances in the men’s game.

Brixham has become a popular destination for Torquay’s emerging talent, providing a competitive environment and valuable match experience. Herbert and Shaw have already settled well into life at the club, earning minutes and showcasing their ability at step-level football.

Edwards’ arrival adds further depth to Brixham’s squad and continues the strong relationship between the two clubs, with Torquay United keen to give their academy prospects exposure to senior football as part of their long-term development pathway.

The young midfielder will be hoping to make an immediate impact as he looks to follow in the footsteps of his fellow Torquay teammates and push on during his loan spell.

Good luck, Aidan!
