United overcome Saltash to march into next round
Torquay United’s Youth Team tasted success on Monday evening, as a goal in each half saw them defeat Saltash United at Buckland Athletic’s Homers Heath ground.
Having taken an early lead through Toby Hard, United backed that up with a determined display to keep their noses in front at the halfway stage.
In the second half, it was more on the same in what was a competitive cup tie, before Kevin Wills’ Young Gulls eventually sealed their progression thanks to a second goal from Hard to make it 2-0.
