Lirak Hasani’s superb first league goal for the Club in the victory over Dorking, has seen the midfielder receive the BVEC Goal of the Month accolade for August.
With the first month of the season seeing nine goals scored by the Gulls, it was Lirak Hasani’s long range effort against Dorking Wanderers that the Yellow Army unanimously voted for, earning the 22-year-old the BVEC Goal of the Month award for August.
Lirak spoke about his memory of that winning goal.
“I’m delighted to receive recognition for the goal itself, and hopefully I can get some more and we can win some more at the same time. I knew the area I was in was a good position, so I just hit it and obviously I trusted my left foot and put it in the top bins, so I can’t complain.”
