Members of the Torquay United squad joined manager Paul Wotton and assistant manager Mike Edwards in visiting the Louisa Cary children’s ward and other departments within Torbay Hospital giving out some gifts for Christmas.

“There is no good time for children to be ill, let alone at Christmas time,” said TUFC manager, Paul Wotton.
“Hopefully we raised a few smiles when we gave out some presents. It is good for the players to get out into the community and do some good.
“The NHS staff that work tirelessly all year around, it goes without saying that they do an amazing job. They were very welcoming during our visit and we’d like to thank them for the work that they do to look after people at Christmas time.”
Gifts were provided by Wilton Bradley, specialists in the design, sourcing and supply of quality consumer leisure goods. “Wilton Bradley is delighted to partner with Torquay United FC to help bring some well-deserved Christmas joy to the Louisa Cary Ward at Torbay Hospital. Supporting our local community, especially at such a special time of year, means a great deal to us.” We would like to thank Wilton Bradley for providing gifts from Toyrific.
