As three sides of the stadium now edge towards capacity, we’re calling upon Gulls fans to help add another tool to Plainmoor’s armoury in United’s battle for promotion v Hemel Hempstead.
Following Torquay’s recent return to form, our clash against Hemel on Saturday (18/04/26 3pm KO) now carries even more significance, and therefore the need to have all four sides of the ground cheering on Jimmy Ball’s side this weekend has never been greater.
With the Yellow Army’s usual stomping grounds of Bristow’s Bench, Brothwell Irvine Family Stand & VX3 Popside likely to sell out shortly, the opening of the Wollens Terrace to home supporters not only offers United fans a unique viewpoint to watch this crucial encounter, but also provides our fanbase with the opportunity to create another ‘wall of support’ behind the Babbacome-end goal.
United’s impressive form at Plainmoor over the past two seasons has been built on the passion of our wonderful home support, and therefore the prospect of the Torquay players attacking their own supporters during both halves cannot be underestimated.
With a pop-up Supporter’s Bar and Snack Hut also located behind the Wollens Terrace, we’d love as many fans as possible to pack out the Wollens on Saturday and help make Fortress Plainmoor even more yellow!
