Torquay United Supporters Trust are on the lookout for individuals to join their Matchday Ambassadors team, and help create a smooth and enjoyable match-going experience for home and away fans at Plainmoor.
This voluntary position requires our Matchday Ambassadors to be positive, confident and courteous – always willing to go the extra mile to help fellow supporters.
Key Responsibilities
- Pro-actively approaching supporters to ensure all fans are made to feel welcome
- Assisting those needing extra support
- Helping solve issues and matters that may arise
- Providing post-match feedback to the club’s Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO)
- Helping monitor social media, where necessary
With Matchday Ambassadors required at all home fixtures next season, individuals will be required to fulfil this role on a rota basis, and will also need to be available to meet the SLO for a pre-match briefing when on duty.
