Highly-rated midfielder Matt Worthington is on his way to Plainmoor having signed a 3-year deal.
Worthington, 27, arrives on the English Riviera after spending last season at Oldham Athletic having previously represented Yeovil Town and Bournemouth among other loan moves.
It was at Yeovil Town that he played an important part in Yeovil’s 2024 championship winning side. A box-to-box all-action midfielder, manager Paul Wotton is delighted to have signed another proven winner.
“‘Worthy’ is a player that I’ve been trying to get into the club for quite a while now,” said Paul. “He’s played at a higher level for the vast majority of his career and he’s won this league before. He fits exactly what we’re looking for.”
