Molly & Sasha Leave United Women

Ahead of United’s women heading to Bishops Lydeard on Sunday, two members of Ryan Perks’ squad have departed Plainmoor.

Sasha Mole, who arguably enjoyed her finest hour as emergency goalkeeper in the dramatic County Cup Final penalty shoot-out win over Exeter back in 2022, has decided to take a break from the game after battling back from serious injury thee years ago.

Meanwhile, striker Molly Orr-Love, who arrived at Plainmoor last summer but was unable to play her part in 2025/26 due to injury, has relocated due to work commitments.

Everyone at Torquay United would like to wish both players all the very best in their future ventures.

Meanwhile, United head to struggling Bishops Lydeard in fine form this weekend, following an excellent 3-2 away win at Gloucester City.

The latest away test for Perks’ side will take place at Lydeard’s Darby Way ground (TA4 3BA) on Sunday, 1st March (2pm KO)
