New Date For Dorking

Rearranged clash set for March 24th

United’s home clash with Dorking Wanderers, originally due to be played on Saturday 7th February has been rearranged, and will now be played on Tuesday 24th March (7.45pm KO).

Supporters are advised that all tickets already purchased for the original date will remain valid for the rearranged fixture.

This fixture, between the teams currently occupying the top two spaces in National League South, has all the hallmarks of a real Plainmoor classic, and with the match now taking place under the Plainmoor floodlights, some midweek magic could well be on the cards when the Wanderers head to Devon next month!

With Paul Wotton’s side on a terrific run of form that has seen them rise to the top of the table, hopes are rising that The Gulls’ long-awaited return to non-League’s top tier is finally coming to an end – but we won’t be able to achieve this feat without you, our fantastic Yellow Army!

Stick With Us, Yellow Army!

As with the vast majority of all football clubs, Torquay United’s main source of income comes from revenue generated on matchdays, and therefore, the back-to-back postponements of our home fixtures against Farnborough and Dorking is undoubtedly a setback – and potentially, a costly one.

That’s where you come in, Yellow Army.

Although any supporters unable to make the revised date for this fixture are fully entitled to request a refund by emailing yellowarmy@torquayunited.com, we wholeheartedly hope that any home or away supporters able to join us next month will instead hold onto their tickets.

ALL tickets issued for the original date will be valid for March 24th – no further action is required, it’s as simple as that!

We hope to see as many of you as possible back at Plainmoor next month for this promotion six-pointer, but in the meantime, here’s a reminder of the revised home schedule for the 2025/26 run-in:

  • Saturday, February 14th v Maidenhead (3pm KO)
  • Saturday, February 28th v Chelmsford (3pm KO)
  • Tuesday, March 3rd v Farnborough (7.45pm KO)
  • Tuesday, March 10th v Salisbury (7.45pm KO)
  • Saturday, March 14th v Chesham (3pm KO)
  • Tuesday, March 24th v Dorking (7.45pm KO)
  • Saturday, March 28th v Horsham (3pm KO)
  • Bank Holiday Monday, April 6th v Bath (3pm KO)

Thank you for your continued support, and Come On You Yellows!
