United head to surrey this weekend, as they take on Dorking wanderers at MEADOWBANK.
With The Gulls bouncing back from defeat away at Chesham with a convincing victory against Chippenham Town on Tuesday, the travelling Yellow Army will no doubt be looking for more of the same, whilst hoping their side can improve their away record which seems to be holding them back this campaign.
Who’s The Boss?

Long serving boss Marc White continues to lead the club he founded back in 1999. Having guided the Wanderers from park football all the way through the divisions, White remains one of non-league football’s most remarkable success stories.
Under his management, Dorking have enjoyed an extraordinary rise through the football pyramid, achieving multiple promotions and establishing themselves as a competitive force at National League South level.
Dorking continue to push the boundaries both on and off the pitch, with White’s passion and hands-on leadership at the heart of everything the club does.
How Are They Doing?
Four wins, four draws, and four defeats mark a mixed start to the 2025/26 campaign for Dorking Wanderers, who currently sit 13th in the National League South table. Considering they were pushing for the play-offs at the end of last season, Marc White’s men will no doubt be a little disappointed with their early progress this time around.
That said, it’s still early days, and the Wanderers have shown enough quality and resilience in past seasons to suggest they can climb the standings as the season develops.
Player to Watch

The visiting supporters will be all too aware of the threat posed by Jason Prior, with the experienced striker having been a pivotal figure in Dorking Wanderers’ attack over recent seasons.
A proven goal scorer at this level, Prior continues to play a crucial role in Dorking’s ambitions as they look to climb back into the National League South play-off picture.
Played for Both

Former Gulls midfielder Frank Vincent is a familiar face set to line up for tomorrow’s opponents, Dorking Wanderers. The energetic midfielder enjoyed a loan spell at Plainmoor during the 2019/20 season, making over 30 appearances in a yellow shirt.
A product of AFC Bournemouth’s academy, Vincent gained valuable experience across the lower leagues with loan spells at Scunthorpe United, Walsall, and later permanent moves to Notts County and Dagenham & Redbridge.
Short stints at Aldershot Town and Woking followed before his summer switch to Dorking ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
