Poole 1 – 4 United Women

Unbeaten league run extended

Torquay United’s women wrapped up a fantastic weekend for the Club, as they secured a fine 4-1 at Poole Town.

Having played far fewer games than any of their league rivals, Torquay’s third win in four games continues an unbeaten start to the league campaign for Ryan Perks’ side, and they were never in real danger of seeing that run come to an end in Dorset.

A brace from Mollie Taylor, in addition to strikes from Tee Kaptein and Lily Hilton, was enough to secure all three points, with United now in 6th position, eight points off leaders Sherborne – but with four games in hand.

United’s next scheduled assignment is next Sunday, as they host Frampton – venue TBC
