Torquay United is pleased to announce the signing of midfielder, Sonny Blu Lo-Everton.
Lo-Everton counts Watford and Derby among his former clubs and will wear the number 24 for The Gulls.
Manager Paul Wotton is delighted to get his man after the midfielder left Yeovil at the end of last season.
“It’s no secret that I wanted to revamp the midfield from last season,” said Paul. “So, we’ve added Callum Dolan and ‘Nashy’ Sundire. Between them they’ve got that little bit of devil, a bit of edge to them. Sonny’s got that as well. Sonny’s also a ball-playing midfielder and technically very, very good. He’s brave and he’ll get on the ball and make us tick over. It’s another option for us in midfield which we need.
“So he’s someone that I tried getting on loan a couple of times last season from Yeovil. But for whatever reason, it didn’t didn’t quite work out. So I’m really pleased to add him on a permanent deal this summer.”
Lo-Everton goes into the squad for Saturday’s first pre-season game away to Buckland at Homer’s Heath.
