Torquay United stars head to Hoburne
Torquay United is privileged to be able to call upon the support of a number of long-standing sponsors, with Hoburne Devon Bay one of them.
Members of The Gulls’ first-team squad paid a visit to Goodrington recently to check out what Devon Bay has to offer.

During our visit to Devon Bay, we caught up with General Manager Richard Ridley, who told us a bit more about the partnership with TUFC.
“As General Manager at Hoburne Devon Bay – a business with a hundred-year footprint in the South West and a key contributor to the local economy – I am proud of our association with TUFC,” said Richard.
“The club shares our values, gives us exposure and networking opportunities, and helps bring together the community in support of the team. I feel TUFC helps bring local business together and this season a sense on real community with real people that care about the club and the local areas.

Having played football locally himself, and as a TUFC, Richard also gave us his thoughts on the current success of the team at Plainmoor.
“I’m a fan, and after playing local football for 30+ years it’s nice to see the excitement around the club.
“There is real promise with this current squad, I am excited for the promotion which must happen!”
