Painting up Plainmoor for 2025/26
Torquay United would like to place on record its thanks to Valspar Trade for their continued support in ensuring that The Gulls’ home looks pristine ahead of the new season.
Following the Bryn Consortium’s takeover last year, Valspar, in partnership with the Torquay United Supporters Trust, provided the Club with a whole range of paint materials to give Plainmoor’s tired walls, gates and doors a new lease of life.
With the new campaign fast approaching, Valspar are kindly doing it all again for 2025/26, with TUFC Chief Executive Mark Thomas and Commercial Manager Sharon Musker recently paying a visit to Torquay B&Q to take collection of the new batch of paint.

Valspar Trade Sales Specialist Antony Bowman Pounder played an integral role in last summer’s events, and he is pleased to be continue his working relationship with the Club.
“It’s a really strong relationship and a privilege to be a part of the Torquay United FC family. I’m pleased that we are doing it again,” said Antony.
“I’ve really enjoyed working with Sharon Musker and Nick Brodrick and continuing to support Torquay United.
“I think the fans seeing the stadium, and all the work that has been carried out makes it all worthwhile, and it makes for a more enjoyable for the matchday experience.
“Being a football fan myself, it’s great feeling to be a part of the club history at the stadium, and it’s a fantastic opportunity.”
Meanwhile, Torquay United Supporters Trust Chairman Nick Brodrick was keen to express his gratitude to Antony and all at Valspar Trade.
“On behalf of TUST and the Club, we’re really grateful to Valspar for donating like they did last year, it really is a fantastic gesture.
“Thank you for your support.”
