Gulls fans raise £204.83 in support of former player Jakub Sokolik
Torquay United FC would like to place on record its thanks to everyone that contributed towards the Club’s fundraising efforts in support of former United player Jakub Sokolik, whose son is being treated for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
As part of the ‘United 4 Jakub Junior’ campaign, supporters were given the opportunity to bid on a pair of ex-Gulls star Eunan O’Kane’s boots, purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a round of golf with United boss Paul Wotton, in addition to a collection held at last Saturday’s home game against St Albans.
Everyone at Plainmoor would like to wish the Sokolik family, and Jakub Junior in particular, all the very best for the future.
