How To Get To Plainmoor
By Train: Torre Station is the nearest rail stop to Plainmoor, with the stadium a 25 minute walk away. Alternatively, local taxi firms can take the strain for you – just phone Price First Taxis on 01803 322322
By Car: The South Devon Link Road runs from Newton Abbot to Torquay, and allows quick access for home and away fans. We do not have any dedicated parking at Plainmoor, and therefore advise fans to get to Plainmoor early so that they can find street parking in the numerous roads located around the stadium.
Bus: Bus service 35A can be picked up from Torquay Harbourside and will bring you to the shops in Plainmoor. The Wollens Terrace away end is a 5 minute walk from the shops.
Ticketing Information
ALL Home seats now SOLD OUT for all-ticket encounter, with only a few terrace tickets still available.
United fans wishing to attend our New Year’s Day home clash with Truro City are strongly urged to book now, with ALL seats in the JMV Family Stand and Bristow’s Bench, and all spaces in our CarpetKing Popside Terrace now SOLD OUT.
There are now only a few spaces in the Wollens Terrace remaining for home supporters.
With this match being designated as a All-Ticket encounter, both home & away supporters required to purchase their tickets in advance for this much-anticipated fixture – NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE FROM THE GROUND ON THE DAY OF THE GAME.
TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE ONLINE UNTIL MIDDAY ON NEW YEAR’S DAY HERE
Supporters are advised that the Matchday Ticket Office will be open from midday for collections, enquiries and advance sales for other fixtures only.
Additional Information For All Supporters Attending
With over 5,000 tickets already sold for tomorrow’s big game, we are encouraging all supporters to arrive early, with all turnstiles expected to be very busy – your patience will be greatly appreciated!
To maintain safety for all supporters, there will be bag searches being undertaken upon entry, so please only bring essential items into the stadium. Unopened plastic bottles of water are permitted, however don’t forget there are also plenty of foo & drinks kiosks around the ground, in addition to our various bars to ensure everyone is kept refreshed!
Supporters who have purchased tickets for the Wollens Terrace will be required to access the stand via Gate 5 on Marnham Road, rather than via the turnstiles as usual: What3words location: ///gown.locker.crisis. Catering facilities for supporters in the Wollens Terrace will be located behind the stand.
With a large crowd guaranteed tomorrow, supporters throughout the stadium are reminded of the importance of keeping the yellow painted stairways clear at all times in order for us to help maintain the safety of all supporters.
Please also note, that due to the expected high winds in South Devon tomorrow, no flags or banners will be permitted. Whilst we appreciate this may cause some disappointment for the yellow army, we greatly appreciate your cooperation and you can be assured everyone is working extremely hard behind the scenes to make this a memorable experience for all!
Club Shop
With the recent arrivals of our new 3rd shirt, double-sided calendar and our new bobble hats giving supporters even more choice, our Club Shop will be open before and after full-time tomorrow.
So, whether you’re after replica kit, training wear, a mug, a scarf or something in-between, the TUFC Official Store – powered by VX3 – remains the only place to pick up your officially branded merchandise!
In addition to our main shop, our kiosk will also be open for business inside the stadium between the Family Stand & Bristow’s Bench entrance.
Food & Drink Facilities
As well as the usual snack bars located around the stadium, we have a number of options for home & away supporters to remain suitably refreshed!
- Boots & Laces will be opening its doors from Midday for both HOME and AWAY supporters
- The Gulls Nest will also be open to HOME fans in Bristow’s Bench and JMV Family Stand only, and can also be accessed from Midday
- Turnstiles will be open at 1.30pm
- ALL bars will also be open for the entire duration of the game, so there’s no need to wait until half-time!
Live Music At Plainmoor
The recent addition of post-match live music in The Gulls Nest and Boots & Laces has already proven to be a big hit with the Yellow Army so far this season, and this Saturday, there will be another top-class live act making their way to Plainmoor, as shortly after the full-time whistle, supporters will be treated to the sounds of Emma Pick in the Gulls Nest between 5pm-7pm!
