Ground Regulations
Torquay United FC would like to provide clarification regarding the use of flags inside the stadium.
Flags are very much part of the colourful and vibrant experience of matchdays at Plainmoor, particularly on the Popside, where the Yellow Army continue to show their passion for the team with distinction.
TUFC would like to confirm that flags and banners are permitted at Plainmoor, as long as they are fire retardant, not attached to poles, and do not contain any derogatory or discriminatory messages. We also ask that any large flags that are usually stored at the stadium are returned to the Club after the game.
The Club would like to take this opportunity to thank our fans for their cooperation regarding this matter.
With much still to be decided at the end of what has been a remarkable 2024/25 season, it is understandable that emotions, and tensions will be running high throughout the course of the 90 minutes on Monday, and also after the match.
However, with any pitch incursions by supporters – whether in celebration or otherwise – likely to see Torquay United punished and fined by the authorities, we kindly ask all supporters NOT to invade the pitch at any time during, or after, the match.
Torquay United FC also wishes to reiterate once again that it is illegal to bring any form of pyrotechnic or smoke bomb into any football stadia, and Monday’s match will be no different in this regard.
Please do not attempt to bring any flares, smoke bombs or any form of pyrotechnic into Plainmoor.
With United’s end-of-season awards taking place on the pitch after the full-time whistle, we kindly request that all supporters give the players and their families the opportunity to thank the Yellow Army for their support this season, prior to us all discovering who has won the Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Ian Twitchin trophies!
So, please join us and stay behind after full-time, as we take a moment to look back on a memorable season and find out who has received the ultimate recognition from you, our fantastic supporters!
See you tomorrow, Yellow Army!
