Torquay United FC would like to inform its supporters that the Travel Club has made the decision to operate on an independent basis, and will therefore no longer be officially affiliated to TUFC.
This outcome was reached following discussions between TUFC and the Travel Club and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved with Travel Club for their efforts in helping supporters follow the team away from home over many years.
Torquay United believes it is essential that any travel provider endorsed by the Club offers supporters of all ages a safe, enjoyable, and professional service. We also require that any partner organisation carrying our badge aligns with and upholds our core values of openness, transparency, and inclusivity.
The Club will now explore the viability of alternative travel options, with a view to providing our loyal travelling supporters with the best possible service going forward.
Ahead of tonight’s trip to Worthing, we would once again like to place on record our sincere thanks to everyone that travels the length and breadth of the country to support the team away from home. The dedication and commitment of our supporters is hugely appreciated by everyone at Plainmoor, and you can be assured that the Club is doing everything possible to ensure we all have something tangible to celebrate at the end of the season.
