Tyler Hill is the latest addition to Jimmy Ball’s Torquay United squad, as The Gulls’ plans for 2026/27 continue to take shape.
20 year-old defender Tyler arrives at Plainmoor following a successful season at Spennymoor Town, where the former Blackpool youngster made 32 appearances for the National League North side last season. Six-footer Hill will add pace and dynamism on the left side of defence.
Manager Jimmy Ball explains that there was stiff competition from an EFL club to get Hill’s signature. “[I’m] really, really excited about Tyler,” said Jimmy. “We managed to go up against a League One club who were trying to sign Tyler. He decided to come here and play football. I’m absolutely delighted by it.”
