With the youth development programme at Plainmoor continuing to go from strength to strength, we are now on the lookout for enthusiastic, motivated, professional yet personable individuals, to help our talented groups of youngsters fulfil their potential and reach ever greater heights!
As an ambitious Football Club, our youth coaches must display a willingness to both learn and educate, by overseeing and delivering relevant innovative & enjoyable coaching as determined by our Head of Youth, in conjunction with the methods and ethos laid out by the Club’s first-team management.
The successful candidate will lead and coach our Under-7s age group competing in the Devon Junior & Minor League, and will need to be capable of working collaboratively with all relevant parties in order to build and maintain effective relationships, with excellent communication skills therefore a must.
Our Under-7s coach will be required to work every Monday evening during term-time for training & every other Saturday for fixtures. Training sessions will be held at South Devon College in Paignton, whilst league fixtures will be held in Plymouth.
Previous experience of coaching young players at a professional club is essential, with the role also requiring applicants to possess a Level 1 coaching qualification (with a preference of working towards UEFA ‘B’ level).
