The VX3 Community Cup took place at Plainmoor during the week, bringing together young players from across Devon and further afield for a fantastic celebration of grassroots football.
Organised and delivered by Torquay United Community Sports Trust, the tournament featured Under-9s, Under-10s, Under-11s and Under-12s teams competing across two enjoyable and action-packed days at the home of Torquay United. In total, 38 teams — made up of nine players per squad — took part in the event, creating a brilliant atmosphere throughout the tournament.
Players showcased great skill, determination and sportsmanship and highlighted the importance of grassroots football and the opportunities it provides for young players to enjoy the game in a positive and competitive environment.
A huge thank you goes to all the players, coaches, match officials, family and friends for their fantastic support and contribution in helping make the tournament such a success. Their enthusiasm and support throughout the weekend helped create a memorable occasion for everyone involved at Plainmoor.
