After a hugely successful week for Paul Wotton’s men, United’s youth teams followed suit with some excellent performances across the age groups.

Under 9 Boys

An impressive performance from United’s U9s this weekend, with the boys pressing as a team and showing what they have been working on in training.

Neat play and dangerous crosses from wide area’s resulted in goals which the coaches were pleased to see.

Under 10 Boys

A huge step forward for the boys this weekend with a much improved performance against arguably the strongest team in the league.

The team responded magnificently to setbacks throughout the game and produced a performance they should be proud of.

Under 11 Boys

An excellent performance this weekend from the boys who all played their part against a very physical Yeovil side.

The team dominated the game from start to finish, however the defence had to be focused throughout, which they did brilliantly.

An terrific overall team performance.

Under 13 Boys

A very professional win for the team against Saints Somerset this weekend maintained their unbeaten start to the season and 5 wins from 5 in the league.

Finley Stephens was awarded player of the match for his efforts and two goals, however all 17 players in the squad contributed to a convincing win.

Under 15 Boys

The team produced their best performance of the season so far this weekend resulting in a 1-0 win against a strong Taunton side.

Every individual player gave maximum effort whilst also maintaining good quality in possession, dictating play excellently.

Under 13s Girls

Torquay United U13s took on Forest Green Rovers on Thursday during Half Term in a closely contested match. The Yellows showed excellent organisation and discipline in defence, limiting Forest Green to long range efforts for much of the game.

Despite their resilience and hard work throughout, a late goal from the hosts proved decisive, with the match ending 1–0 to Forest Green.

It was a brilliant team effort, and the coaching staff were immensely proud of the girls’ performance and determination throughout.
