It proved to be a challenging outing for United’s U12s, who faced a well-organised Yeovil side on a large pitch that tested their shape and decision making throughout.

Despite that, there were encouraging signs in the third quarter, where Torquay enjoyed their best spell of the game.

Under 13s

United’s U13s continued their fantastic run of form with a dominant 6–2 victory over Cheltenham Town, making it six wins from six in what has been an exceptional start to the season.

Despite controlling the first half, the Young Gulls went into the break level at 2–2 after a harsh penalty and an unfortunate goalkeeping error. However, the response after the restart was outstanding. United were unplayable at times, combining great teamwork with real quality on the ball.
