The latest from our Girls’ youth matches
After an impressive win for Torquay United Women on Sunday, the girls’ youth teams showed that the future of the club is in very capable hands, with our coaches giving us an update on last week’s action.
Under 9s
The Under 9 Yellows continued their strong form on Saturday with a great performance against Marine Academy Plymouth U9 Boys. The girls defended well and created some excellent chances, with goals from Isabella Green and Emmeline Wood. Players of the Match were Emmeline Wood and Lacie Cook.

Under 11 Blue and Yellows
The U11 Blues and Yellows faced off in a competitive DGFL derby on Sunday at Churston Ferrers. Both teams showed great attacking and defensive intent.
Goals came from Anya McVeigh and Millie Kirk (Blues), with Lily Russell and Summer Tarrant netting braces for the Yellows. Players of the Match were Millie Kirk and Scarlett Marcheschi.
Under 13s Yellows
The U13 Yellows continued their strong start to the season with a 3–2 win over Crediton Blues at Churston Ferrers.
Goals from Sophie Stephens, Skyla Whitfield, and Kacey-Leigh Robins secured the victory, with Maisie Heyes and Megan Sneap named joint Players of the Match..

Under 15s Blues
The U15 Blues came out on top in a hard-fought away fixture against local rivals Paignton Villa. Goals from Olivia Crowe, Kayla Gardner, and Mia Rixon sealed a 3–0 win, with Kayla Gardner named Player of the Match.

Under 15s Yellows
The U15 Yellows were edged out 3–1 away to Stoke Hill in a competitive DGFL clash. Indigo Dean scored in the first half, but the hosts pulled ahead after the break. Ashley Jenkins was named Player of the Match.
