TUFC to honour the fallen v Tonbridge
On Saturday at Plainmoor, Torquay United FC will be paying its respects to those that paid the ultimate price for us all.
With our match against Tonbridge Angels being the last one played at Plainmoor prior to Remembrance Day taking place on Monday 11th November, we will therefore be observing a period of silence prior to kick-off on Saturday in order to salute the fallen.
As a Club, TUFC believes that paying its respects to all those who lost their lives in battle is of the utmost importance, and we are proud to continue honouring the sacrifices they made, whilst also supporting the work of the Royal British Legion in helping members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families.
Supporters will be given the opportunity to purchase a poppy or badges via the Club Shop prior to kick-off, and also make personal donations to the Legion inside the stadium, with representatives from the RBL located around the ground.
With our pre-match tribute beginning from 2.50pm, supporters are kindly requested to take their places inside the stadium by this time, in order to allow time for both staff and supporters the opportunity to join together to pay their respects.
