Palmer To Remain At Plainmoor

Defender agrees new one-year deal

United’s squad plans for 2025/26 has received an early boost, with the news that centre-back Ed Palmer has agreed a one-year extension to remain at Plainmoor.

Having risen through the ranks as a youngster at Torquay, local lad Ed went on to gain experience at a whole host of sides in the South-West before following Gulls boss Paul Wotton in making the switch from Truro to United last summer.

Last season saw 33 year-old Palmer become an integral part of the United squad that went within a whisker on winning promotion, and having committed to another season on the English Riviera, he will now be aiming to help the Club go one step further next term.
