Saturday sees the return of football at Plainmoor when we take on Newport County in our first home pre-season game of 2025/26.
Last pre-season saw fans suffer in the heat so we want all fans to remain as cool as possible and hydrated for our three matches at Plainmoor!
Our day kicks off at 9am with the opening of Boots & Laces for breakfast. The Lions Vs the Wallabies kicks off at 11am and you’ll find no better home to watch it than at Boots & Laces. Get a Bristow’s Breakfast and a drink for just £12!
The club shop opens at midday enabling the Yellow Army to see the new home and away kits ahead of the game. Also on display is this season’s fantastic leisure wear along with fan favourites such as the bucket hat and home towels. It will also be open for a limited amount of time after the final whistle. The Yellow Army can gain access to the Gulls Nest bar from midday through the Family Stand turnstile. Midday is also the time the ticket office opens to assist fans with ticket sales.
From 1pm in Boots & Laces we’ll have live music to help build up to kick-off. Turnstiles open at 1:30pm Then after the final whistle we’ll have live music from 5:30pm until 7pm when Emma Pick will keep everyone entertained.

By Train: Torre Station is the nearest rail stop to Plainmoor, with the stadium a 25 minute walk away. Alternatively, local taxi firms can take the strain for you – just phone Price First Taxis on 01803 322322
By Car: The South Devon Link Road runs from Newton Abbot to Torquay, and allows quick access for home and away fans. We do not have any dedicated parking at Plainmoor, and therefore advise fans to get to Plainmoor early so that they can find street parking in the numerous roads located around the stadium.
Bus: Bus service 35A can be picked up from Torquay Harbourside and will bring you to the shops in Plainmoor. The Wollens Terrace away end is a 5 minute walk from the shops.

Any fans who require a space in our wheelchair section is asked to head to our matchday ticket office, which will be open from midday on Saturday.
Supporters wishing to purchase tickets on the day of the game will also be able to do here, whilst supporters on the Popside will also be able to take advantage of the return of pay on the gate via the designated turnstile. Please note that our ‘pay on the gate’ turnstile will only accept card payments.
