Three More Additions For United Women

tAlented trio arrive at Plainmoor ahead of 2025/26

TUWFC’s squad-building plans ahead of their campaign opener on Sunday v Pucklechurch have been given a further boost, following the news that former Lakeside starlet Lexie Hembry, and South Devon College graduates Keira Harvey & Libby Narramore, have agreed deals to join the Club for 2025/26.

United manager Ryan Perks has seen his recruitment drive rewarded with a whole host of talented players in recent weeks, and now, with the big kick-off fast approaching, those efforts have gone into overdrive.

Lexie Hembry arrives at Torquay United with a reputation of being one of the area’s most talented and athletic young right-backs, and is a player who enjoyed a fine season in front of goal for Lakeside last term.

Having progressed through the youth system at Marine Academy Plymouth before joining the post-16 programme at Plymouth Argyle Community Trust, Hambry is undoubtedly one to watch for the future.

For Keira Harvey and Libby Narramore, the step-up into the senior ranks marks the culmination of their progression through the South Devon College programme, and is further evidence of the successful partnership between SDC and TUWFC.

Keira, a dynamic wide attacking player, was originally part of Exeter City’s development team for the 24/25 season before making the switch this summer to Torquay.

Whilst she will remain part of the College team – where she will continue to benefit from valuable game time and further development – her pacy and direct play can now also be harnessed at United.

Central defender Libby – previously with Exeter and Devon – boasts valuable experience at youth football at a high level, and her composure on the ball and impressive passing range has marked her out as one for the future.

Like her College teammate, Libby’s continued participation in the SDC programme will provide her with additional training and match opportunities to further enhance her development, and ensure she is ready when called upon.

Welcome to Torquay United, all!
