Torquay United is in full preparation mode for a historic double-header of football at Plainmoor and we have the solution to cure your FOMO.
As the Gulls get set for the visit of Dagenham & Redbridge in the National League South, we have moved to open Block B of Bristow’s Bench to the Yellow Army in response to a hugely encouraging surge in ticket sales over the early part of this week.
This Saturday will mark three weeks since United equalled a 43 year-old record in making five straight wins at home to begin a league season, and the team of archivists are furiously checking whether six has ever been done before.
Add into the mix a chance to potentially move up to second in the table and close the gap on the leaders Hornchurch, the ingredients are in place for a spectacular festival of football at TQ1.
And not only can the Yellow Army enjoy the view from Block B on Saturday, the Plainmoor gates will reopen less than 24 hours later, as Torquay United Women look to extend their own terrific run of form against visiting Pucklechurch at Plainmoor.
