Dolan Ruled Out For The Season

Torquay United have suffered more frustration on the injury front, following the news that midfielder Callum Dolan has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Dolan scored a magnificent effort in Saturday’s 4-1 home win over Hampton & Richmond, but subsequently saw his afternoon curtailed prematurely, after succumbing to a knee injury in the second half.

Following the confirmation this week that Callum has sustained a ruptured ligament and torn cartilage, United are now sadly facing up to tackling the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign without him.

Dolan, who will now attend a consultation with a knee specialist ahead of surgery next week, has been in fine form for The Gulls this season and his absence will be keenly felt by manager Paul Wotton and his squad.

“I’m bitterly disappointed for the player and the team,” said Wotton.

“It’s another injury setback, but we will keep moving forward.”

Everybody at TUFC wishes Callum all the very best during his period of recovery, and we all look forward to seeing him back in a yellow shirt again as soon as possible.
