‘Big Nev’ Returns To Plainmoor!

Join us for an unforgettable evening with a true Footballing LEGEND on March 6th

Torquay United Football Club is delighted to announce that our latest ‘An Evening With’ event will see former United, Everton and Wales goalkeeping icon Neville Southall return to Plainmoor on Friday, 6th March 2026.

‘Big Nev’ needs very little introduction. Having spent the majority of his career competing at the very highest level with Everton and winning a whole host of domestic and European honours with the Toffees, Southall also scaled impressive heights on the international stage, winning a then-record 92 caps for the Welsh national team.

Neville then went on to win the affections of the Yellow Army during a memorable spell on the English Riviera between 1998-2000, making 61 appearances and deservedly being named as Torquay’s Player of the Season along the way.

This not-to-be-missed event will see guests enjoy a delicious two-course meal, prior to Southall taking centre-stage in The Cove as he recounts his glorious career between the goalposts, with our audience then given the chance to partake in a Q&A session with the man himself.
