All the Latest from Our Young Gulls
With both of our senior sides winning last weekend to strengthen their places at the top of their respective tables, we now take a look at how the next generation of United stars have been getting on.
Under 9s
Our Yellows took on Saints South West last weekend, and there was plenty of goalmouth action on show!
United started strongly, allowing their opponents no time on the ball. Saints came back into proceedings in the second quarter, before a tactical switch saw the Young Gulls finish the game strongly.
All in all, it was a closely fought encounter between two sides who gave it their all!
Meanwhile, our Blues bounced back from a recent setback to play their part in an entertaining match against Saints Whites. The team put in an excellent showing that they should be proud of, with plenty of quality and courage on display from all the lads.

Under 10s
A thrilling match against North Devon RTC saw the Under-10s put in one of their best performances of the season.
Although a couple of moments of bad luck – including a cruel deflection – meant the lads didn’t quite get the result their efforts deserved, their superb play on the ball was fantastic to watch!
Keep it up, lads!
Under 11s
Our Under-11s went goal crazy last weekend – and it could have been even more!
A solid all-round performance combined with a hard work rate was rewarded thanks to goals from Duke (2), Buddy, Kit, George, Rhys and Jack.
Under 13s
A dominant performance from our U13s saw them come out on top against Saints Somerset.
The hard work that our Young Gulls had been putting into training has certainly been paying off, with excellent finishes from Teddy (2), Sant (2), Finley, Scraggy and Lukas capping a good day for the group, with MOTM centre-back Freddy and Rocco also impressing.
Under 14s
A classy showing from 14s saw them take control of their clash against Generation Elite from the first whistle.
Once again, the hard work in training came to the fore, as the boys produced a confident performance and played some great football. Gio (2) and Noah were the day’s goalscoring heroes!
