Summer Fans Forum Set For Plainmoor

Torquay United supporters will have the opportunity to hear directly from Jimmy Ball, the Board and senior management when the Club hosts its Summer Fans Forum at Plainmoor later this month.

The Forum will take place on Tuesday, August 25th at 7pm in the Cove Restaurant, with supporters invited to join us in person or watch the event live online via TUFC TV, the Club’s official YouTube channel.

Admission to the Cove is completely free, although capacity is limited to 80 supporters on a first-come-first-served basis. Supporters wishing to attend must reserve their seat in advance through our FanBase ticketing system.

For an additional £10, supporters can book food on the evening – curry and rice with a vegetarian option.

The Forum will be split into two sections.

The first will focus entirely on football, with First Team Manager Jimmy Ball discussing the season, his squad and the footballing direction of the Club, before taking questions from supporters.

Following a short interval, Co-Chairmen Mark Bowes-Cavanagh and Michael Westcott will be joined by General Manager Tim Herbert for a wider update on Torquay United.

That session will cover the Club’s financial position, its operations, overall direction and plans for the future, before the floor is once again opened for supporter questions.

For those unable to secure a seat in the Cove, the Forum will also be shown live in Boots & Laces at Plainmoor.

Supporters further afield won’t miss out either. The entire evening will be streamed live and free of charge on TUFC TV. To access the live stream, supporters will need to be registered as a subscriber to the Club’s official YouTube channel.

Both sections of the evening will include dedicated Q&A sessions, giving supporters the opportunity to put their questions directly to Jimmy, the Board and Club management.

Fans watching from home will also be able to get involved, with questions submitted during the evening via YouTube and Torquay United’s official Facebook page included in the Q&A wherever possible.

We look forward to welcoming as many members of the Yellow Army as possible to Plainmoor – and online – for what promises to be an informative and open evening discussing both the football and the wider future of Torquay United.
