All the info as The Gulls begin their FA Cup journey on Saturday (19/09/26 3pm KO)
Torquay United’s pursuit of Emirates FA Cup glory begins at Plainmoor tomorrow, as The Gulls welcome Isthmian League side – and current FA Vase holders – AFC Stoneham to the English Riviera.
Ahead of tomorrow’s cup tie, here’s all the info every home and away fan needs ahead of the game.
Getting To Plainmoor
By Train: Torre Station is the nearest rail stop to Plainmoor, with the stadium a 25 minute walk away. Alternatively, local taxi firms can take the strain for you – just phone Price First Taxis on 01803 322322
By Car: The South Devon Link Road runs from Newton Abbot to Torquay, and allows quick access for home and away fans. We do not have any dedicated parking at Plainmoor, and therefore advise fans to get to Plainmoor early so that they can find street parking in the numerous roads located around the stadium.
Bus: Bus service 35A can be picked up from Torquay Harbourside and will bring you to the shops in Plainmoor. The Wollens Terrace away end is a 5 minute walk from the shops.
Ticketing Arrangements
With Plainmoor Passes only covering league matches, 2026/27 Plainmoor Pass holders are reminded that they will need to purchase individual match tickets for this encounter.
Reduced prices will be in operation for this tie, with Adults able to watch the action for just £10, and Under-18s prices at just £5 for all areas of the ground!
Travelling Stoneham fans will be situated in Bristow’s Bench Block A (seated).
Turnstiles will be open from 1.30pm.

Food & Drink At Plainmoor
The Gulls Nest and Boots & Laces will both be open from midday tomorrow, allowing both sets of supporters to enjoy a pre-match drink. Both bars will also be accessible at half-time, although this will be for HOME fans only, prior to reopening to Torquay and Stoneham fans again at full-time.
Inside the ground, Food Kiosks offering a wide selection of hot & cold drinks and snacks will also be available to both sets of fans.
Make A Day Of It… Join Us For Our Fan Zone from midday!
Ahead of the main event, our Fan Zone on the grass field outside Boots & Laces will become a hive of activity from midday, with a whole host of events and stalls on hand to guarantee something for all the family!
Leading up to the action getting underway inside the stadium at 3pm, the pre-match fun outside the ground will include a live music, food, and much more besides!
Club Shop
All three of United’s 2026/27 shirts will be available in our Club Shop shop tomorrow, where a full range of training wear and accessories will also be available.
With Plainmoor the only place to pick up your official TUFC merchandise, the Yellow Army will also be able to make purchases from the Club Shop Kiosk inside the ground, located between Bristow’s Bench and the Brothwell Irvine Family Stand.
